If you have an older home, chances are that you rely on hot water or steam radiators to provide heat in the cold winters. While radiant heat is desirable for energy efficiency, the large cast iron fixtures are often unsightly. They can also pose a danger to children and pets.
Radiator covers by JPC Custom Decor can transform your heating elements into focal points for your home. Each piece of our furniture is custom made in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania to your exact specifications of style, finish and dimensions.

Q: How do I get a quote?
A: Getting a quote is simple, just send us rough measurements of your radiators and your style selection.
Q: I received a quote and wish to purchase the covers. What are the next steps?
A: Once you accept the quote, we will come out to your home to get exact measurements of your radiators and the space around them. We will never sell covers without our own measurements because there are many other factors to take into consideration other than the width, height and depth of your radiator. There are features such as baseboards, window sills, trim, and outlets that we take into account. A perfect fit is guaranteed on all of our covers.
Q: How do I measure my radiators?
A: Your measurements are only needed to give us an idea of the size of your radiators for a quote. We just need ballpark numbers for the length, height and depth of your radiator. We’ll come out and obtain precise measurements to ensure your covers fit perfectly.
Q: How long does it take once I’ve ordered to receive the covers?
A: All covers are custom made to order and are produced in the order in which they are received. The typical turn-around time is 2-6 weeks.
Craftsmanship
Q: What material are your radiator covers made of?
A: The body of the cover is made of wood, the grills are aluminum and the top piece is MDF.
Q: How thick is the material that you use?
A: The wood stock is ¾” thick and the aluminum is .5mm thick.
Q: What range of sizes do your covers come in?
A: All radiator covers are custom made to order, and we take our own precise measurements. There’s no radiator too small or too large that we can’t make a cover for.
Q: I see three different radiator cover styles on your website. Do you have any other options?
A: Yes! If you find another style that you like, just send us a photo and we’ll let you know if we can replicate it.
Q: I’d like to match other radiator covers that I have in my house, can you do that?
A: We can most likely match your existing radiator covers, just send us a photo and we’ll let you know.
Q: Can you make shelving on top of or beside your covers for additional functionality?
A: Yes! Let us know your vision and we will help you execute it.
Q: Can you make an access door or vent on the top panel?
A: Yes, the list of modifications and additional features are endless.
Q: What are the finish options?
A: You can choose from bare wood (prime and paint yourself), primed (apply the top coat yourself) or fully painted. A white enamel is the standard color for painted radiator covers, but we can paint it any color that you’d like.
Q: What colors can I choose from?
A: Any color that you’d like! Provide your own paint or let us know what color you’d like and we’ll pick it up.

Q: Do you ship the covers once they’re built?
A: No, they’re hand delivered and installed by us.
Q: Do radiator covers pose a risk for fire?
A: Steam and hot water radiators only reach temperatures up to 212°F, therefore there is no risk for a fire. Electric heaters are an exception though as they can reach higher temperatures. We will not make covers if electricity is the energy source for your radiator.
Q: Will covering my radiator make it less efficient?
A: While some manufacturers will tell you that covers make your radiators more efficient by directing the heat out into the middle of your room rather than up your walls, our stance is that they have minimal impact on efficiency. Our standard designs have large grills that allow for maximum airflow on the front and sides.
Q: Do you make anything besides radiator covers?
A: Yes! We also do custom cabinets and vanities as well.
